Building a future with CW
CW is laser focused on looking after our key assets: our people. Here at CW, we continue our pursuit to be the one of the best places to work. How? We listen. We act. CW identify that our employees desire career growth opportunities, ongoing support, challenges, realistic and fair benefits, flexible WFH policy (including post COVID-19), and an understanding that family commitments are real and must be balanced with work requirements. We get it.

Collaboration and Development
At CW, we foster collaboration and partnership. We encourage direct interaction and cross collaboration between all members of the firm, we promote ongoing learning opportunities, and strive to provide a broad range of interesting matters and projects for our employees to pursue.
Work / Life Balance
CW recognize that we all have commitments outside of life, and that life simply does not stop during work hours. We continue to provide a flexible work environment, and work on individual bases with our attorneys and professional staff to find an arrangement that works for both parties.

What its like to work at Carpenter Wellington:

Cameron
“Working at CW is unlike anything I’ve experienced before; I’m able to come to the office or work from home depending on what that day has to offer. Setting my own pace has allowed my productivity to skyrocket throughout the week. Work life balance is extremely important to the CW team and it shows.”

Mario
On a typical day at Carpenter Wellington, I start the day by reviewing client workloads and scheduled meetings, followed by a prioritization of tasks to meet client needs. Between participating in client meetings, reviewing client contracts, and working on other client matters, I connect with my team members to utilize the full support structure of Carpenter Wellington, which allows me to gain assistance and efficiency in my work. On most days, I connect with the Managing Attorney, Ryan Carpenter, and we discuss workloads, consult on client matters, and work on business development. I typically end my day by logging my daily tasks and activities and performing other administrative work to support firm health.
Working at Carpenter Wellington is a wonderful experience for many reasons. I particularly like the flexibility around work hours and remote work, which allows working parents like myself to customize their schedules in way that can meet family needs as well as company needs. Carpenter Wellington is a small company that fosters a pro-growth company culture and encourages team members to work closely together and build a collaborative and supportive work environment in which the doors are always open when help is needed, which is very important to me. As it is small company, a big component of working at Carpenter Wellington is also business development, which I also enjoy working on by partnering with the Managing Attorney, Ryan Carpenter, to build out the company vision.

I get to work with interesting, awesome, funny, talented individuals and it’s easy to tell that we are all working toward the same vision and want one another to succeed. I appreciate the flexible working environment and I feel I have a purpose, positive contributions, continual progress, personal growth, and professional development.”
